These classes are designed for children age 3-5.
During these sessions children will have the opportunity to see some science demonstrations and take part in activities of their own! Each week will have a different theme and a different challenge!

You can select from the wide range of topics on offer or simply choose to have a session full of fun science demonstrations and activities to excite and enthuse!

Home Education Sessions
Tay Room, Woodhill Evangelical Church
These classes are designed for home educating families to attend, where they can meet other families and cover some of the topics that they might find more difficult to cover at home. They are aimed at children from roughly age 3-12, but older children are welcome to attend, and babies are welcome too!
During these sessions children will have the opportunity to see some science demonstrations and take part in activities of their own!
I aim to have a different session each month, and you can find out more on the Class for Kids page. The same session is run on a Monday and a Friday to allow as many families to attend as possible.

After school club

NEW!
The after school club trial in December went so well that I’ve added a block of sessions this term and the chance to earn a CREST award from British Science Association! 🤩
There will be a block of 5 sessions, each running for 1 hour, for 5 consecutive weeks.
🧑🔬We will carry out a variety of projects over the course of the block, including investigating fabrics and materials, growing plants, examining mini beasts and delving into space!
These sessions are ideal for any children with a curiosity of science, or how things work!
🧒Although the classes are designed for ages 5-9, any primary aged children are welcome to attend.
🌈STEAM sessions help to foster natural curiosity, build critical thinking skills, and shape long term attitudes towards learning. They also help children understand the world, promote STEAM literacy, and develop skills like observation, prediction, and inquiry.
😊Not to mention, it is heaps of FUN!
🏆To add an extra level of excitement, I am offering every child who comes along to this block the opportunity to gain a CREST Star award, from the British Science Association.
CREST awards are designed to develop critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork skills that enhance learning. CREST fosters a sense of achievement and pride, inspiring young minds to take ownership of their learning and explore possibilities in STEAM.

British Science Week 2026
🧑🔬British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths that will take place between 6-15 March 2026!🧑🔬
🥳 We will be celebrating in all of our weekly classes, but, if you would like to bring some of the science fun to your nursery or classroom, drop me a message and book a visit! 🥳
💰Visits can be 30 or 60 minute sessions, and start from as little as £50!
🤔We can cover themes related to BSW, or just cover some really cool science experiments to get your children enthused about science!
📍I'll come to you and bring all the supplies I need for a fun, interactive session! All I need is a space to set up (tuff tray or table) and access to a sink to clear up.

📝 family sessions are for both pre-school and primary children who would like to attend together, and a parent or carer is required to stay for these sessions.
👛 A single session is £13, discounts are available for booking both primary sessions and siblings.

Friday Classes and Nursery visits
Our usual Friday classes are running at Woodhill Evangelical Church, Bishopbriggs.
We are on every Friday from now until Easter break, at both 9.30-10.30 and 11.00-12.00.
We have a wide range of topics to cover this term, including; Slime, Forces, Electricity, Weather and Castles and Catapults!
We'll also have a couple of special classes for Valentines and Easter themes!
